Hans Schepers is a down-to-earth and honest attorney with an eye for detail, who gives his clients clarity about the legal situation so that, together with his client, he can achieve the best possible result.
Fields of law
Hans Schepers especially focuses on (juvenile) criminal law and penitentiary law. But because of his extensive experience in administrative and civil law, he is able to help you with such a case as well. Also in cases in which criminal law and other fields of law meet, that knowledge comes in handy. For example, Hans also handles cases concerning administrative penalties (fines).
Immediately after his study, Hans Schepers went to work at a law firm in Maastricht, where he was admitted to the bar in 2003. He had a general practice with civil law and administrative law cases, but a focus on criminal law. He has particularly focused on legal assistance to minors, both in criminal and civil cases.
Hans Schepers studied at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. In 2002 he earned a master-degree in Dutch law (in the field of Criminal Law). Among his professors the renowned criminal law scholars Buruma and Machielse. During his study he also gained the necessary knowledge of administrative law. As a result, the sometimes thin line between criminal and administrative law has Schepers’ particular interest.
